Forest Roberts Theatre Presents 'California Suite'
MARQUETTE, Mich. — Northern Michigan University's Forest Roberts Theatre will present the Neil Simon comedy California Suite. It is composed of four playlets that take place in suites 203 and 204 of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Marriage, relationships and human emotion give this play a real yet humorous look in to the lives of the California Suite guests. This play contains adult themes and language.
Show times are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 through Saturday, Sept. 26, and Wednesday, Sept. 30, through Saturday, Oct. 3. Additional 1 p.m. matinees will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26 and Oct 3, as well as Sunday, Sept. 27. The play will be performed in the Panowski Black Box Theatre in the McClintock Building.
This play is directed by Ansley Valentine, director of theatre at NMU, and Alysa Spivak, a senior majoring in theatre and entertainment arts. The production stage manager is Dakota Vogel, a junior theatre major at NMU. To purchase tickets, visit nmu.edu/tickets.
