Adult Health Screenings Focus of Your Health Lecture

The next presentation in the Your Health lecture series at Northern Michigan University will be titled “Staying Healthy: Appropriate Health Screenings for Adults.” It is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in Reynolds Recital Hall in the C.B. Hedgcock Building. Dr. David Walsworth of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine will be the presenter. The public is invited free of charge.

 

Walsworth is associate professor and associate chair for clinical affairs with the department of family medicine at MSU College of Human Medicine. He previously served as vice chief of family medicine at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital. Walsworth is board-certified in family medicine. He serves on the board of directors for the Michigan State Medical Society and the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians.

The Your Health lecture series is a collaborative community event sponsored by NMU, UP Health System-Marquette and Michigan State University of College of Human Medicine Upper Peninsula Campus.
