Hamel Appointed to NEAT Executive Committee
Brad Hamel, director of alumni engagement and external relations technologies, was recently appointed to the National Educational Alumni Trust (NEAT) Executive Committee.
NEAT is a consortium of 140 alumni organizations around the country. Part of its mission is to advance the alumni relations field by awarding grants and scholarships to alumni professionals. Grants are awarded on a yearly basis to member institutions that want to learn more about alumni relations-related topics that will benefit their programming while also producing a final report that could provide insight deemed beneficial to fellow members.
Hamel will serve on the Grants Subcommittee and help institutions that receive funding fulfill deadline and program requirements.
Since 2009, NEAT has awarded more than $60,000 in grants. Professional development scholarships are also awarded on an annual basis to member associations to attend their respective Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) conferences.
