World Languages Day March 18 at NMU

Northern Michigan University will host World Languages Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 18, in the first-floor lounge of Jamrich Hall. The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Department of English and College of Arts and Sciences are sponsoring this event.

The detailed schedule follows:

11-11:20 a.m., Planet Chat: Argentina

11:30 a.m.–12 p.m., Career exploration for modern languages students

12:15-12:45 p.m., French bread baking with samples

1-1:30 p.m., Anishinaabe language lesson

1:45-2:05 p.m., Planet Chat: France

2:15-2:45 p.m., NMU Arts Chorale
