NMU College of Business Hosts Spring Celebration

Northern Michigan University’s College of Business is hosting a Kevät Juhla, or spring celebration, on Thursday, April 21. The social hour with cash bar begins at 6 p.m. in the University Center Explorer Rooms, with dinner and the program following at 7 p.m. The festivities will recognize outstanding achievements and contributions of College of Business faculty, staff, students and alumni. Registration is free, but scholarship donations are encouraged. Register by Monday, April 11, at www.universe.com/kevatjuhla

Rob McIntyre will serve as the keynote speaker. He serves as branch [resident of the Horton Group’s Wisconsin operations. He takes a leading role in developing client and insurer relationships. As a manager, he directs the Horton Risk Management and Horton Benefit Solutions local service teams. McIntyre is a resident of Menomonee Falls, Wis., and coaches youth sports. He also served as the chairman of the board for the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin and is active with other organizations that serve individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. McIntyre is a 1984 NMU College of Business alumnus.
