Lake Effect Choir Presents 'Taste of Heart & Soul'

Northern Michigan University’s Lake Effect Show Choir will present “A Taste of Heart & Soul,” an evening of musical entertainment accompanied by appetizers, desserts and beverages. Two performances are scheduled on Wednesday, April 20, and Thursday, April 21. Both begin at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms.

NMU professor Sharon Green directs the Lake Effect Show Choir. This is the group’s 10th annual “Taste” concert offered in collaboration with NMU’s Simply Superior Catering. Selections will include “Hey, Soul Sister,” “Soul Man,” “Just Sing,” “Get Ready,” “Dancing in the Street,” “Please Mr. Postman” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”

Tickets are $15. They should be purchased by Friday, April 15, at Forsberg Flowers: A New Leaf or at the NMU Music Department office in the Thomas Fine Arts Building.
