Seaborg Center Offers Summer College for Kids
Northern Michigan University’s Seaborg Center will host “Summer College for Kids” programs for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. Morning and afternoon age-appropriate classes covering various topics will run June 20-24, June 27-July 1 and July 11-15.
Summer College for Kids is an opportunity for students to engage in “hands-on, minds-on” lessons in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Classes include Invertebrate Zoology, ABCs of Lego Design, Tinkering with 3D Printing, Crime Scene Investigation, Coding for Kids, Seaborg’s Kitchen and several others.
