NMU Blueberry Classic Golf Outing July 22

Thursday 30, 2016

The sixth annual Blueberry Classic golf outing will be held Friday, July 22, at the Northern Michigan University Golf Course in Chocolay Township. Funds raised at the event benefit NMU students who encounter unexpected financial challenges. Golfers of all levels are welcome to participate.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. and teams will tee off at noon. The event follows a shotgun scramble format over 18 holes, some of which feature special activities. A $100 per person registration fee covers greens fees plus shared cart, a blueberry-themed lunch, beverages and snacks on holes and heavy appetizers after golf. For more information or to register, visit www.nmu.edu/blueberryclassic.

The NMU Student Flexible Aid Fund created by the event is a resource to which students can apply for help in covering costs such as auto repairs, medical bills, child care and course expenses not covered by financial aid.
