NCLL Hosts Architecture Presentation

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a presentation titled "Architecture Today," featuring Studio RAD architects and founders Joe Rom and Joy Carcillo. They will discuss their current projects, including the renovation of a local house, a 19th century barn conversion and the Ore Dock BotEco Center. They will also discuss 21st century architecture and the vernacular site-specific design process they use.

Rom is a native of Marquette. The couple returned to the area from New York City after working on projects around the world. The program is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Peter White Public Library. For more information, call class liaison Caroline Jordan at 228-9953.
