A campus forum on the immigration ban executive order originally scheduled for Thursday afternoon (Feb. 9) has been postponed. Details on a new date and participating panelists will be announced when they become available. 

The executive order and the subsequent judge’s ruling to block some of that order has resulted in many unanswered questions. Since the order was issued, NMU has been assessing which students, faculty and staff could be impacted and what these individuals might need in the way of support. The Dean of Students Office has reached out to impacted students regarding this executive order and Human Resources is a starting point for faculty and staff questions. The campus community will be updated as new information becomes available.
