'Nailed It' Crafting Event March 11 at NMU

The Zonta Club of Marquette, which raises funds for NMU student scholarships and community grants, will host a “Nailed It” crafts and cocktails event from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, March 11. Participants can choose from several workshops that will be offered at the NMU Jacobetti Complex.

A $35 general admission ticket includes one of the following 90-minute workshops: “T-Shirt Macrame Plant Hanger” led by Michele Dupras of Revisions Design Studio; “Build Your Own Monogram Crate” led by Kate Havel of You Can DIY; “Terrarium” led by Jeff Heidtman of Weddings by Jeff Heidtman; “Topiary” led by Sarah Balding of Forsbergs... A New Leaf; and “Paint and Share: Vintage Bike with Basket of Flowers” led by Matt Chittle of Panache.

For an additional $20, participants can add one of four 60-minute workshops: “Who Needs Needles When You Have Arms?” led by knitter Victoria Leonhardt; “Pallet Wood + Glitter = Superior” led by Kate LaFave of RE: Home; “It's A Wrap!” led by Debbie Veiht and Dianne Linn; and “Create Your Own Greeting Cards” led by Vicki Fawcett of Stampin' Up.
