NCLL Hosts Jewelry-Making Workshop

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a “Jewelry Making with Copper Findings” workshop from 1-4 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in 404A Cohodas Hall at Northern Michigan University.

Jewelry maker Bonnie Badour will teach participants about caging a round bead with copper wire, using jigs to coil and twist wire and making jump rings. All wire and tools will be provided. Each participant will receive a pair of earrings or a pendant to take home.

The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. An additional $10 fee for materials must be paid to the presenter. Register before Friday, March 17, by calling 227-2979. Contact Caroline Jordan at 228-9953 or asheanna4@yahoo.com for more information.
