NMU Orchestra Performs

The Northern Michigan University Orchestra will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in Reynolds Recital Hall. Admission is free.
The concert is featuring work by the Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov titled the “Russian Easter Overture.” It also features a version of the “William Tell Overture” by Gioachino Rossini, “Into the Storm” by Robert Smith and an arrangement of the traditional Scottish song “Black is the Color of my True Love’s Hair.” Barbara Rhyneer is the conductor, and Austin Wilkins is the student conductor.
