Northern Michigan University’s commencement ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 6, in the Superior Dome. Of the 1,122 students eligible to graduate, 883 are expected to participate in the ceremony.

The keynote speaker is Jason Jennings. The student speaker is Jeulani Gahiji, an entrepreneurship major from Chicago. Music education major Richard Frankowski of Mundelein, Ill., will serve as soloist at the ceremony, leading the audience in “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “Hail, Northern.”
