NMU alumnus Todd Maki has been appointed the new president & CEO of First Bank, Upper Michigan, effective March 1. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from NMU. Maki has been with the organization for 20 years and is a lead commercial lender. According to a press release from parent company First Bancshares, First Bank recently merged with Northern Michigan Bank & Trust. It has 10 locations, including two in Gladstone, where Maki resides.
