Beaumier Center Screens 'Three Days of the Condor'

Tuesday 20, 2018

The Beaumier Center at Northern Michigan University will offer a showing of "Three Days of the Condor" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, in the Seminar Room of the Beaumier Center in Gries Hall. The showing is held in conjunction with the Beaumier Center's Cold War in the U.P. exhibition. A discussion with Daniel Truckey will follow the film.

"Three Days of the Condor" symbolizes Cold War paranoia and the public’s right to know. This 1975 film follows the journey of a CIA researcher as he finds all of his co-workers dead. Following the event, he must outwit those responsible until he finds out who he can really trust.

Admission is free. Popcorn will be available for purchase. The Beaumier Center exhibition on the Cold War will be open on these evenings. For more information, contact the Beaumier Center at 227-3212 or heritage@nmu.edu.
