Northern Michigan University will co-sponsor "Yooper Day" at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton on Saturday, April 28. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team, will face the Peoria Chiefs at 1:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a newly designed Timber Rattlers U.P. T-shirt. An exclusive $20 box seat ticket deal that guarantees a tee is available through April 10. The promotion is a collaboration of NMU, Michigan Tech and the Yooper native-owned Keweenaw Pub in De Pere.
