When a student graduates from NMU or makes the Dean's List (3.5 GPA and above), their name is added to that semester's list of accomplishments. We publish these accomplishments online (Dean's List, Graduate's List) and, when possible, we send a list of student accomplishments to hometown newspapers. Finding contact information and coverage areas for hometown newspapers is challenging especially when this information is not always available online.
If you would like NMU to send a press release to your hometown newspaper, use the form below to provide as much information as possible about the newspaper in your hometown. The zip code that you provide in the form should match the zip code in your student record. This is how we link a student to a newspaper when we send out the press releases.
