Multiple singers on stage in fancy clothes and forest landscape

FRT: Behind the Scenes

Backstage pass

Alot of skill and hands-on work goes on way before the magic on stage starts. In the set and costume shops located near the Panowski Black Box Theatre in the McClintock Building, students and staff cut, sew, saw, weld, hammer, paint and decorate realistic realms. There is also a hidden flight and rigging system located stage right at Forest Roberts Theatre that is used to fly performers and set pieces onto the stage. Downstairs in the theatre building are two dressing rooms and a green room, where the cast hangs out before and during the show when they aren’t on stage.
