Tim Cleary
Professor Cleary has been pivotal in institutionalizing the interdisciplinarity of the Vienna Program through his work as an artist and art historian. As a painter, he brings a distinctive perspective as we walk through the historical layers of art in Vienna. With his view towards integrating everything we do in Vienna into a Wagnerian Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art), he relates the visual, architectural, performative, and musical aesthetic of our experiences to our practical everyday life.
