NMU has an academic program for your passion

Northern provides some of the most unique and immersive educational experiences anywhere.

You can follow a guaranteed pathway (known as an articulation agreement), search our transfer course database, and get personal guidance from an academic adviser (we call them Success Advisers). It's all about supporting your success at NMU so you can find your next chapter and follow your passion.

Liz Preston holding NMU flag in snowy forest

"... I was nervous about transferring to college as a junior, I wondered if I would have the same college experience as my peers. I had so many questions: Would it be hard to make friends? Should I live on or off campus? Would it be weird to live in a dorm as a junior? My biggest fear was not being able to live the full “college experience”.

I decided to live in the dorms and I couldn't be happier with my decision. It's been a great way to experience college life by eating in the dining hall and meeting people."
