Kurt's professional journey spans diverse industries and roles, commencing as a sales engineer and progressing into product marketing, where his innovative contributions led to the acquisition of two U.S. Patents. He concluded his career in supply chain management, showcasing expertise across electrical power distribution, automotive, high-tech, and oil and gas sectors.
His academic pursuit began at NMU, where he earned a degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing in 1977, followed by an MBA in 1990.
Kurt considers it a privilege to serve on the NMU Alumni Board. Reflecting on his formative years at NMU, he attributes his personal and professional growth to the invaluable education and experiences gained there. Eager to connect with fellow NMU Alumni nationwide through alumni events and social media, Kurt is enthusiastic about leveraging his expertise to support and elevate the Alumni Board and University.
