Northern Michigan University is proud to host the 2025 Michigan Housing and Dining Service Officers Association (MHDSOA) Conference from September 29–October 1 in Marquette, on the rugged and breathtaking shores of Lake Superior.
This year’s theme, “Charting North: Centering Community in Campus Excellence,” invites us to gather in a place defined by its natural beauty, strength, and sense of connection. Like the lake itself, deep, expansive, and powerful, our work in housing and dining shapes the foundation of the student experience. It requires both thoughtful intention and steadfast rigor, as we build communities that are inclusive, supportive, and resilient.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Upper Peninsula’s fall colors, this conference offers space for reflection, collaboration, and innovation. Here, we’ll exchange ideas, elevate best practices, and deepen the bonds that tie our campuses together.
