Prospective students can also fill out our request information form or email gradadmissions@nmu.edu to speak with a graduate admissions counselor who can answer questions and schedule a phone call or visit to campus.
University Business Hours
University business hours are 8 am - 5 pm during the fall and winter semesters (late August through early May) and 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday during the summer (early May through mid-August).
Northern Michigan University is located in the Eastern time zone and the state of Michigan follows daylight savings time.
Campus Location
The Office of Graduate Studies and Research resides in 401 Cohodas Hall. Cohodas Hall is located on the corner of Presque Isle and Kaye Avenues (see campus map).
