'SAVAGE LOVE' WRITER BRINGS ADVICE TO NMU
MARQUETTE, Mich.−Dan Savage, writer of the popular sex advice column “Savage Love," will speak at Northern Michigan University on Tuesday, March 24. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center.
“Savage Love” is published in more than 70 newspapers in the United States, Canada, Asia, and Europe. Although Savage is openly gay, his column answers the questions and gives advice to straight and gay readers. Savage has authored numerous books including The Kid: What Happened After my Boyfriend and I Decided to get Pregnant, Skipping Towards Gomorrah, and, The Commitment: Love, Sex, Marriage, and My Family. Savage is also the editorial director of Seattle’s weekly paper The Stranger, and his writing has appeared in other publications such as The Onion, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times.
During the presentation, attendees will receive notecards and pencils to write down questions they have for Savage.
