SENIOR ART EXHIBITION AT NMU

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University’s graduating art and design students will showcase their final work in a senior exhibition at the DeVos Art Museum.  The “Untitled” exhibit runs from Wednesday, April 14, through the end of the month. A closing reception is scheduled from 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 30, when the best in show, best in graphics and provost’s awards will be presented.

            The senior exhibition is held at the end of every semester and showcases the culmination of skills that students have learned. It features a variety of media, including photography, furniture, graphic communication, ceramics, digital cinema, human-centered design, illustration, jewelry/blacksmithing/metals, printmaking, drawing/painting, woodworking and sculpture.

Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1-5 p.m. on weekends. There is no admission charge.
