MARQUETTE, Mich.-- The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will go on a tour called “Wicker, Wildlife and a View” from 8 a.m. to about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26.
This presentation will be given by Fred Huffman, of Marquette County Tours. The tour will go to Lloyd-Flanders manufacturing plant in Menominee, De Young’s Family Zoo and the Pine Mountain ski slide. Lunch will be Dutch-treat at Schloegel’s Bayview Restaurant. Participants should wear closed-toed shoes while touring the factory.
The transport vans will meet at the Berry Events Center’s eastside parking lot at 8 a.m. There won’t be a stop for dinner, so participants should bring snacks to tide them over.
This tour is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. This class is limited to 13 participants and has a registration deadline of Monday, Aug. 16. To register, contact class liaison Al Reynolds at 360-4167 or 475-9835.
