FRENCH TRIVIA CONTEST AT NMU

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The French program in Northern Michigan University’s department of modern languages and literatures is sponsoring a trivia contest open to the campus and local communities. Six questions will be posed during the academic year relating to the history and culture of France or French-speaking regions and peoples.
Prizes will be awarded to those who submit the questions selected for the contest and to one winner from each round, chosen at random from among those with the correct answer.
The first round of questions is being accepted through Oct. 1, with answers due Oct. 15. Both can be submitted to www.nmu.edu/FrenchContest. Deadlines for remaining rounds of questions and answers, respectively, are: Oct. 29 and Nov. 5; Nov. 19 and 29; Feb. 11 and 21; March 18 and April 1; and April 15 and 22.
