NCLL VISITS SNOWY PLAINS DOG KENNEL

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “Snowy Plains Adventures” at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the Snowy Plains dog kennel.
Participants will learn about sled dog selection, equipment, training and maintenance. They will help to feed the dogs, harness them and enjoy a ride in a sled, if desired. The cost is $10 with an additional $10 for an optional sled ride. Register by the Jan. 9 deadline by calling Penny Larsen at 892-8447.
