MARQUETTE, Mich.—Daniel Carvalho de Rezende, a business professor at Universidad de Lavras in Brazil, will give a public presentation titled “Business in Brazil” during a visit to Northern Michigan University. His talk is scheduled from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the West Science Building’s Mead Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.

            Rezende previously spent a decade as marketing director of LaticInios Serrabella, a Brazilian company founded by Danish immigrants and dedicated to producing specialty cheeses. He holds degrees in production engineering, marketing and sociology. Rezende will serve as a visiting international scholar at NMU March 12-18 and give classroom presentations on such topics as a Brazilian approach to relationship marketing and eating out trends from the Brazilian market.
