NCLL OFFERS KAYAKING AT PICTURED ROCKS

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will hold a kayaking trip at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising on Saturday, Aug. 6.
The group will meet at the Jack’s IGA parking lot in Harvey at 8 a.m. and will return at 6 p.m. The 10-mile kayaking trip is accessible to all skill levels. In addition to kayaking, there will be time to enjoy the beach. Participants should bring water, rain and sun protection, bug spray, water shoes, swimsuits and extra clothing.
The class costs $125 for adults who need to rent kayaks, $75 for adults with their own kayaks and $100 for children, plus a contribution to the driver for gas. This trip is limited to 50 participants.
