YOUR HEALTH LECTURE FOCUSES ON ORAL HEALTH

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—Oral health will be the focus of the next event in the Your Health Lecture Series at Northern Michigan University. Dr. Elissa Ghezzi of the University of Michigan will explain how to maintain a healthy mouth and how doing so can provide wellness for the rest of the body. The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, in Reynolds Recital Hall. It is free and open to the public.

            Ghezzi is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan’s department of cariology, restorative sciences and endodontics. She is the owner and clinical care provider of Generations Portable Dentistry and owner of the Michigan Geriatric Dentistry Network, both in South Lyon.

            This lecture and others in the series are sponsored by NMU, MSU’s College of Human Medicine and its UP Region program, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Marquette General Hospital.
