MARQUETTE— The Northern Michigan University Regional Police Academy will host mandatory orientation meetings for those planning to enroll in the next training program. Participants should attend one of the following sessions: 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, or 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7. Both will be held in room 132 of the NMU Jacobetti Center.

            Police Academy staff will distribute the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) application packet, discuss the timeline for turning in required materials, address financial aid options and answer questions.
