NCLL Offers Wine-Tasting Course

           MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will feature a course called “Comparing Wines—What to Know” at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Everyday Wines on Baraga Street in Marquette.
            Daniel Rutz, owner of Everyday Wines, will speak on the history of wine before leading the class through a tasting of six different “fine” wines to learn the differences between them, including the aroma, opacity and flavors. Participants will also learn terminology related to wines.
            This course is $5 for NCLL members and $10 for non-members. Register by Thursday, Feb. 2, by calling Lucille Scotti at 249-3640.
