NCLL Hosts Program on Negaunee Civil War Vets

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a course called “A Look at Negaunee’s Civil War Veterans” at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the Negaunee Public Library on Case Street.
Alan Nelson, researcher and historian on Civil War veterans, will share stories of brave local men who fought during the conflict, including one reputed to have fought with the Confederacy and also an African-American soldier.
