Biology Seminar on Preventing Potato Scab Disease

MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University will present a biology seminar on the prevention of potato scab disease at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 in Mead Auditorium, located in the West Science Building.
Graduate student Michael Jay Peters will discuss how using single and paired suppressive Streptomyces strains can reduce populations of Streptomyces scabies and prevent the spread of potato scab disease. This presentation is free and open to the public.
