Loon Seminar at NMU

MARQUETTE, Mich. —Northern Michigan University's biology department will present a seminar titled "Multilocus genetic analysis of common loon populations using RAD-tag 'Nex-Gen' sequence data." Professor Alec Lindsay will give the talk at noon Friday, Nov. 30, in Mead Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
Lindsay has studied the evolution and behavior of the common loon, which is a threatened species in Michigan.
