Civil War Presentation at NMU

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University’s psychology department will host a colloquium series presentation titled “Looking at the Civil War Era via Material Behavior Expressions” by Karen Suksi. This presentation will take place at 3:10 p.m. Friday, March 22, in Gries Hall room 167. This event is free and open to the public.

            The Civil War was one of the most powerful storytelling events in our nation’s history. Suksi will explain how examining artifacts made during that time helps in shaping what was culturally significant.
