Student Recital at NMU March 26

            MARQUETTE, Mich .—  A Northern Michigan University music student recital will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. The performance will take place in the Reynolds Recital Hall and will feature at least three students playing musical instruments, including a trumpet, piano and trombone.

            Terrence Ingalsbe from Cheboygan, Mich., will perform the first movement of a trumpet concerto by German composer Johann Nepomuk Hummel. He is studying under Mark Flaherty.

            David Obst from Cloquet, Minn., will perform a piano piece by Sergei Rachmaninoff in C-sharp minor. His music professor is Nancy Redfern.

            Roscoe Schieler from Marquette, Mich., will also perform a Rachmaninoff piece on the trombone.

            All performers will be accompanied by Redfern on piano. This performance is free and open to the public.
