NMU Symphonic Band Performs

MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan University Symphonic Band will perform at 3 p.m Sunday, April 14, in Reynolds Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
The program will also include a variety of modern and classical compositions. Jacob Barnby, a music education major, will be the Euphonium soloist in “Rhapsody for Euphonium and Concert Band” by James Curnow. Barnby recently was selected as the first-chair euphonium player in the National Intercollegiate Band, which performed at the College Band Director’s Conference in Greensboro, N.C.
