NMU Students Attain Superior Edge

Tuesday 7, 2013

MARQUETTE, Mich.— Thirty-six Northern Michigan University students were recognized for completing all four edges of the Superior Edge program.

Superior Edge focuses on four components: citizenship, diversity, leadership and real-world experience. Each of the four “edges” involves 100 hours above and beyond normal degree requirements. Participants must also write a reaction paper and create an online portfolio. Those who put in the full 400 hours graduate with special honors for achieving the Superior Edge.
