NMU Homecoming Block Party Sept. 21
MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University will hold a community-wide block party to celebrate Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 21. NMU Game Day is scheduled from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Third Street between Magnetic and Kaye.
The event will feature food vendors, free inflatable games, face painting, pony rides and student performances. There will also be a special appearance by the NMU Marching Band and opportunities to interact with Wildcat Willy, along with NMU coaches and athletes. The celebration leads up to the Wildcats’ Homecoming football game against Ohio Dominican at 3 p.m. in the Superior Dome.
