MARQUETTE, Mich.—Tonight’s Latino Month presentation at Northern Michigan University has been rescheduled because of travel issues. Christine Chavez, granddaughter of Cesar Chavez, will speak from noon to 2 p.m. Friday (Sept. 20) in the Pioneer Room of the University Center. Latina Magazine recently named Chavez one of the top Latinas for her involvement in civil rights issues, particularly marriage equality.
