NMU Class Hosts Nah Tah Wahsh Delegation

A Northern Michigan University English class taught by Professor Kia Jane Richmond will host about 45 high school students and teachers from Nah Tah Wahsh Academy on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Richmond obtained a Michigan Campus Compact Venture Grant to support the event. Students in her "materials and methods of teaching English" course will participate. 

The visitors will attend a special preview of Les Miserables at 10 a.m., have lunch in the NMU Marketplace at about 12:45 p.m. and have an "afterglow" in the Whitman Hall commons at 2 p.m.
