For media only: A Northern Michigan University leadership class will host an activity for area elementary and middle school students designed to promote creative expression through writing. The journaling and ice cream social event will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Cadillac and Nicolet rooms of the University Center. It is an academic service learning project for the NMU class, which is composed of participants in the university's Student Leader Fellowship Program.
