MARQUETTE, Mich.-- The Marquette Choral Society will begin rehearsing for its April concerts on Monday, Jan. 13. Rehearsals are held from 7-9 p.m. Mondays in the choral room of the Thomas Fine Arts Building at Northern Michigan University. The Choral Society is directed by Dr. Floyd Slotterback and is open to all interested singers. No audition is necessary. Singers may join any time during the first three rehearsals, up to Jan. 27. The concerts will be April 26-27.

This semester, the Choral Society will perform Mozart's “Coronation” Mass and Fauré's Requiem. Membership and both pieces of music is $30; membership and one piece of music is $20; and membership without any music is $5.
