Award-Winning Comedian Performs at NMU

Wednesday 12, 2014

MARQUETTE, Mich. — Jay Black, the 2013 College Performer and College Comedian of the Year, will perform at Northern Michigan University on Thursday, Feb. 20. The performance is free and open to the public. It will be held at 8 p.m. in Jamrich 103.

According to Richard Kelley of the Wilmington Comedy Examiner, “Black runs the gamut, performing shows for all-aged audiences. His comfort zone, he says, is R-rated material, but he tries to keep it to a minimum. Folks say he's similar to a Jerry Seinfeld or Ray Romano.” The recipient of the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities’ most prestigious award has toured with Kevin Nealon and opened for Christopher Titus, Greg Fitzsimmons, Emo Phillips, Pete Holmes and Sinbad.

Primetime Productions is sponsoring the event.
