Inside-Out Class Projects Presented
Friday 18, 2014
The 2014 Inside-Out program involving Marquette Branch Prison and Northern Michigan University will hold its closing ceremony on Tuesday, April 22, at the prison. Media who wish to cover the event must RSVP by noon Monday to kevans@nmu.edu. Prison inmates and "outside" NMU students enrolled in a crime, punishment and communities course worked cooperatively on final projects. The projects will be displayed from 5-5:30 p.m., with an awards ceremony to follow from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Professor Michael Harrington and the NMU students from campus will be available for interviews; prison inmates will not.
