NCLL Offers Astronomy Session

MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will hold a hands-on learning session with astronomer and NCLL member Scott Stobbelaar. The event is scheduled from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the Star Lab of the West Science Building.
Stobbelaar will cover the moon, its phases and features that are visible via a telescope. He will also discuss constellations and the motion of the earth, stars and planets.
Pre-register by Wednesday, April 30, by calling 227-2979. The cost is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members.
