'Little Brothers' Topic of NCLL Program

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a presentation by the Upper Peninsula chapter of “Little Brothers: Friends of the Elderly” at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, in room 101B at the Superior Dome. The cost is free for NCLL members and $5 for the general public. Register by May 8 by calling 227-2979.

Little Brothers is a volunteer organization that has served a key role in the fight against isolation and loneliness among the elderly for more than 60 years. Little Brothers’ expansion director, Carol Korpela, will discuss the chapter’s hopes of extending its reach to the Marquette area and the current service work being accomplished in Houghton and Keweenaw counties.
